Manage outdated or unsupported agents

Use the agent dashboard to determine whether your deployed agents are outdated or unsupported.

Before you begin

  • If using role-based access control, a role with the Organization edit action is required.

  • If using organization users and groups, the Organization RulesAdmin role is required.

Steps

  1. Open the agent dashboard:

    • Northstar: From the left navigation, under Administration, select Agent management.

    • Contrast: From the header, select Administration and then, select Agent Management, if not already selected.

  2. Optional: To view only agents that are outdated or unsupported, select Filters > Condition and then, select Outdated.

  3. Review the list of agents in the Condition column.

    Outdated indicates that a newer version of the agent exists or the version of the deployed agent is no longer supported.

  4. Review the versions of the agent in the Version column.

  5. Review the supported technologies for individual agents to identify supported versions.

  6. Upgrade your agents, if necessary.
