Deployment Hub
Contrast Security’s Deployment Hub provides the steps to onboard and set up the platform and deploy the Contrast agents. This Deployment Hub helps track application capabilities, identify strong programs, pinpoint improvement areas, and understand how to enhance them.
To understand how to work with the use of the Deployment Hub for configuring and onboarding the platform, follow this outline:
Start platform onboarding via the welcome email to sign up with Contrast Security | Follow the platform setup and sub-steps under the Deployment Hub wizard | Create a task for agent deployment | Review and manage tasks. Email notifications will alert task completions by assigned users. | Select Task complete when the task work is approved |
To understand how to work with the use of the Deployment Hub for completing assigned tasks for agent deployment, follow this outline:
Start the agent deployment via the welcome email to sign up with Contrast Security | Select the name of the assigned task in the Tasks table | Follow the steps of the assigned task. Select the Onboard application button and add metadata. | Select Mark task complete when the steps are complete | Follow the notifications if corrections are needed or if the tasks are complete and closed |
Good to know
Before starting, it helps to know what you will see and use during the onboard and task actions.
Status: There are three types of statuses for assigned tasks.
Pending: A task is created and is waiting for the assigned user to complete it
Incomplete: A task is incomplete if the assigned user has failed to entirely or accurately complete the task
Complete: All assigned tasks are complete
Progress: When working through the Deployment Hub, track the onboarding work with the Your progress indicator.

Select the ? icon to view instructional videos and documentation to better understand the step or task
Tooltips help users follow the assigned task steps and also provide additional information
Select the Mark complete button when the step is done. If any corrections are needed, select the Undo mark complete button.
