Deployment Hub tasks

The assigned tasks are the application-specific tasks to deploy agents.

Before you begin

Make sure you have everything you need before you start.

  • The agent will need to be able to reach your Contrast instance. It can be a local/on-premise instance or a hosted instance. A proxy can be configured if the environment has limited network access.

  • Confirm your user permissions are enabled and assigned a role to ensure appropriate visibility within the system

Deploy agents

  1. Start the agent deployment by signing up with Contrast Security via the welcome email.

  2. Under the Deployment Hub heading, select the name of the assigned task under the Tasks table.

  3. Select the Onboard application button to install and configure the agent.

  4. Add metadata from the agent installation wizard.

  5. Select Mark task complete when the steps are complete to notify that the task is complete.

  6. Follow the email notifications if corrections are needed or if the tasks are complete and closed.
