Manage agents not sending data

Use the agent dashboard to identify agents that stopped sending data to Contrast.

Before you begin

  • If using role-based access control, a role with the Organization edit action is required.

  • If using organization users and groups, the Organization RulesAdmin role is required.

Steps

  1. Open the agent dashboard:

    • Northstar: From the left navigation, under Administration, select Agent management.

    • Contrast: From the header, select Administration and then, select Agent Management, if not already selected.

  2. Optional: To view only agents with a status of Terminated, select Filters > Status and then, select Terminated.

  3. For any agents with a status of Terminated, restart the application.

    If the status does not change to Online after approximately five minutes, contact Contrast support.
