Configure in Contrast
To set up the integration in Contrast, you must have Organization Administrator permissions or an equivalent role with access to the Integrations panel.
Log in to Contrast.
In the left navigation, select Administration > Integrations.
Select the ServiceNow option.
In the URL field under the Manage credentials tab, enter the full URL for your ServiceNow instance — for example,
https://your-instance.service-now.com.Create an API key that allows Contrast to send events to your ServiceNow instance. Once created, paste the token into the API key field.
Under Application, choose whether Contrast sends events for all applications or only selected applications.
To enable bidirectional sync, ensure the Bidirectional sync toggle is set to on. This allows ServiceNow to push status updates and comments back to Contrast.
Select Save.
Continue to set up in ServiceNow.
Note
The integration can be enabled or disabled globally at any time from the Integrations panel.
