Enable multi-factor authentication at an organization level (Northstar)
Note
For on-premises customers, set multi-factor authentication at a system level.
If a user belongs to multiple organizations, their default organization determines their multi-factor authentication settings.
Before you begin
Note
If you configure SSO in Contrast and also want to use multi-factor authentication, configure it using your identity provider (IdP), instead of Contrast. With SSO configured, Contrast passes the responsibility of authenticating users to the IdP.
If you're not using SSO, protect your system by requiring multi-factor authentication as a required setting.
Steps
In the left navigation, under Administration, select Security.
Toggle the MFA setting to green.
Specify whether to require MFA for users in the organization.
